We may be paid by companies we feature. This may influence rankings. How it works

Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: January 15, 2026

The short version

We earn commissions when you buy products through our links, and some companies pay to be featured. This may influence which products appear and where they rank. The price you pay is never higher because of it.

How affiliate links work

ParentRankings participates in affiliate advertising programs including Amazon Associates and direct brand affiliate programs. When you click a "Visit Site" link on our site and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is exactly the same whether you arrive through our link or directly.

How our rankings are determined

Every ranking is built from a defined methodology — typically a weighted scoring rubric covering criteria like safety, ease of use, and value. Commercial relationships may influence which products we cover and where they appear. Editorial scores themselves come from our research against those defined criteria.

Some rankings include sponsored products clearly labeled "Sponsored." These are separate from editorial rankings and marked accordingly. Sponsored placement is always disclosed in the ranking list.

FTC compliance

In accordance with the FTC's 16 CFR Part 255 guidelines on endorsements and testimonials, we disclose our affiliate relationships clearly. The disclosure bar at the top of every page states that ParentRankings may earn commissions from affiliate links. This page provides further detail for anyone who wants it.

Affiliate programs we participate in

  • Amazon Associates
  • Direct brand affiliate programs (varies by category)
  • Impact, ShareASale, and CJ Affiliate networks
